Breast augmentation with implants: Implants chosen with you, with proportion as the goal

How it works

The right implant is the one your body can carry naturally over the long term. That is why we measure breast base width, tissue thickness and symmetry before we ever talk about cubic centimeters.

We work with implants that carry health-authority registration and the manufacturer's warranty, in a hospital with a board-certified anesthesiologist. Fat transfer augmentation is also offered for those seeking a moderate change without an implant.

Is it for me?

  • Small breasts, or breasts that lost volume after pregnancy or weight loss.
  • Breast asymmetry.
  • Anyone looking for more definition in the cleavage with a natural result.

What you should know

How it is done, how to care for it, and what to expect.

General information so you arrive at your consultation with the right questions. Your plan is defined during the consultation.

Technique

  • Measurement of the breast base and sizing simulation during the consultation.
  • Incision in the inframammary fold (the most common), around the areola or in the armpit.
  • Dual plane to cover the implant with muscle above and give a natural shape below.

Aftercare

  • Surgical bra day and night for 4 to 6 weeks.
  • No heavy lifting or chest exercise for the first month.
  • Periodic ultrasound or MRI to monitor the implants.

Results and how long they last

The implants sit high for the first few weeks and settle into position between the second and third month.

Risks and how they are reduced

Capsular contracture, rupture, changes in sensation and asymmetry. They are explained with their real percentages and reduced with clean technique and follow-up.
