Liposuction and liposculpture
Removal of localized fat from the abdomen, waist, back, arms, thighs or under the chin. Vaser, laser or conventional cannulas are used depending on the tissue and the goal, and the fat can be transferred to the buttocks or face.
Technology helps, but the contour is made by the hand guiding the cannula. With more than 30 years of experience, the decision of how much fat to remove and where to leave it is made with an eye on how the body will look in five years, not just in the post-op period.
In men the aim is abdominal and flank definition; in women, the waist and the hip-to-thigh transition. When the skin is loose, it is combined with energy-based skin tightening or a tummy tuck is recommended instead.
